Morris Atula

Former World Light Heavy Weight pro Wrestling Champion Morris Atula of Nigeria is set to make a comeback in the United Kingdom before December 2012.
Atula, popularly known as ‘The Golden Warrior’, is based in the United Kingdom and had stepped aside from the sport for some time but is now ready to return to the ring.
Atula won the World Light Heavyweight Wrestling Championship title from Braidy Boom of USA at Portland Oregon USA in 1986 and successfully defended his title worldwide.
He Knocked out British Pit- Bull Johnson in the final defense which took place at National Stadium Surulere Lagos in 2004 and retired undefeated after wining many laurels back home in Nigeria and abroad.
Atula's decision to return to the ring is aimed at restoring Nigeria's lost glory on the global sports scene of which pro wrestling is a part.
Atula, who established Multi Sport Academy, in London said that Nigeria, as a nation, requires long term preparatory program to succeed during international sporting championship and this is not limited to professional sports alone. Nigeria must return back to basics in order to regain lost glory, he said.
