Powerlifting boss slams PCN, NSC over exclusion

The Technical Director of the Para Power-lifting Federation of Nigeria, Samuel Ekeoma has condemned both the Paralympics Committee of Nigeria (PCN) and the National Sports Commission (NSC) for excluding from the list of officials that attended the recently concluded Paralympics game in London
Nigeria bagged a total of 13 medal which include 6 golds , 6 silver and 1 bronze medals to come third from the African perspective as Tunisia  and South Africa won 12 gold and 8 gold respectively to lead the African campaign at the Games
Ekeoma was with the team during all its trials in Nigeria and the competition it went to in order to qualify; the Korfakan tourney in UAE and throughout the preparations in Korea before the team went to camp in Surrey.
He lamented that it was regrettable that he was dropped after helping the team to prepare for the Paralympics Games
The technical director observed that with his position as the Technical Director, he ought to be one of the officials of the Federation, adding that it was a shame that he was not allowed to finish what he started.
Ekeoma noted that those who were queuing to be recognized with the team in the PCN and the NSC did not know how the team got to where it is today. He added that it was unfortunate that he was being treated unfairly after serving his country well.
