MOC inspects EKO 2012 facilities Friday



To ascertain the level of work at the facilities designated for the 18th National Sports Festival tagged Eko 2012, the Main Organising Committee (MOC) led by its Secretary-General, Abba Yola will on Friday visit Lagos.
According to the secretary general of the Local Organising Committee (LOC), Kweku Tandoh, the inspection was at the instance of the LOC in order to ensure that the MOC get update of the preparation for the sporting fiesta.
“We decided to invite the MOC to acquaint them with the level of works going on at all the venues expected to be used for the festival. We believe that we must carry along the MOC on our preparation especially when it comes to facilities. The MOC will be led by its Secretary and venues like Onikan, Rowe Park and Teslim Balogun will be visited by the team,” he said.
Aside the inspection on Friday, MOC team and the LOC secretariat will also meet to harmonise on the festival plans.
Meanwhile, the LOC has appointed media attaché for each of its Sub-Committee with the aim of publicizing the activities of the sub-committees.
