Nigeria picks two more medals at Paralympics

Team Nigeria on Monday added two more medals to boost its overall tally at the ongoing Paralympic Games in London.
The Team's Folashade Oluwafemiayo picked another silver medal in the women's -75kg powerlifting event to bring the country's silver medals to five. She lifted a 146kg weight to pick the medal.  She was beaten to the gold by China's Taoying Fu who also lifted 146kg. Chinese Taipei's Tzu-Hui Lin won the bronze with a 137kg lift.
Earlier in the day, another powerlifter, Nigeria's Victoria Nneji won the country's first bronze medal in the women's 67.50kg event.
This brings the country's total number of medals after Monday's events to 10. This comprises 4 gold, 5 silver and a bronze medal. This could however not boost the country's ranking from the 10th position it fell to at the beginning of events on Monday morning.
Meanwhile, Team Nigeria is rated number one on the powerlifting medal's table with 10 medals, the same as China that is in the second place. Egypt is third with just five medals.
