Team Delta maintains lead at National Sports Festival

The supremacy of Team Delta extended into the second day on Saturday, with the team remaining at the top of the medals table with 27 medals that comprised 12 gold, 5 silver and 10 bronze.

It is closely followed by Rivers with 21 medals that includes 12 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze. Hosts Lagos remains in contention with 16 medals in all. These include 5 gold, 5 silver and 6 bronze. It is tied on the same number of medals with Edo that also has 16 in all but 4 gold, 2 silver and 8 bronze.
