Ondo, Ogun, Cross River, Oyo and Akwa Ibom completed the top ten with total medal hauls of 58, 68, 49, 42 and 44 in that order. Their position on the log was determined by the number of gold won by each team.

With this victory, Delta makes good its threat to depose Rivers that began the Games on November 27 as defending champions and had hoped to retain the title.
